Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Sparty has a great road and trail description. We were able to drive in about 3.8 miles from Route 16 on Bridge Street/Langtown Mill Road in a Subaru Crosstrek using great care. The road is pretty rough with large rocks and some ditches that make navigating tricky. High clearance definitely required for at least the last 2 miles or so. Plenty of room to park and places to pass, pull off, or turn around along the way.

Comments
Comments: From the parking area we followed the road farther uphill past the "trail ends" sign and into the woods. At 1.5 miles we turned sharply left at the cairn/stake/arrow onto the herd path, which led steeply 0.5 mi to the summit. 4.1 mi, +1,450', 2:15
