parked at ski area with plenty of room. carspot at Rapid Stream Road Trailhead. *Road is rough but with careful navigation no issue with my low clearance sedan. |

crossings on Firewardens trail were low and rock walkable. lll |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
trails overall in great shape. between the Spaulding tentsite there is 1 stepover blowdown. netween MATC box heading to Mt Abraham there are four blowdowns in which at least two are walk arounds with herdpaths established. below the tentsite on Firewardens trail there is a large birch stepover on trail by a reroute d section of old trail |

A soup to nuts type of hike of these peaks. Heavy cloud cover and patchy drizzle on Sugarloaf led to gradual clearing with dazzling views shortly after summiting Mount Abraham. i met six thru hikers on todays hike |
