Low risk, high payoff if views are your thing. Exceptionally easy to follow, somewhat eroded trail. Slabs heading up West peak were wet, but not dangerously slick. Although the dip from West peak to East peak is a few hundred feet, it is a pretty mellow climb up to the ledges. Lingonberries are nearly ripe, blueberry bushes are flush with fruit. Once on East Peak, follow the trail to the Grafton Loop turn off and just past that is the summit sign. |
