Comments
Comments: Challenging 9.5 hr hike over almost 10 miles. Trail ranged from several long stretches of flat with few obstructions to steep and rutted. Saw 5 people total on this Saturday in July. Mt Coe trail final ascent on steeply pitched solid rock with wet slimy patches here and there, probably best not attempted in rainy wet conditions and definitely not descending. Beautiful 360 degree views from both summits to Katahdin, double top and surrounding mountains, ponds and lakes. Magnificent and varied trail with lovely views of Tear Drop pond on our way down. Well worth it!
