 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at the northern trailhead of Albany Notch Trail. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Just a few minutes into the hike there is a 30 foot section of trail that is flooded as a result of beaver dams. There is a herd path that turns left for a couple minutes and then you get across by walking across one of the beaver dams. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I removed several blowdowns but a couple still remain. Trail to southern ledges after reaching the summit could use some brushing and restructuring of the cairns. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Good hike for dogs. Several water sources. |
