Safford Brook Trail is quite overgrown in areas. Not a huge deal but just be prepared to be brushing up against leaves and grass and branches for a couple miles total. |

| Bugs: |
So many mosquitoes, especially after 11am. Also lots of horseflies and some annoyed bee looking things at the West summit. |

A camelbak water bladder was on the side of the trail about a mile from the TH. |

Great trail. Lots of variety in terrain. Few people on the trail today. |
