Mt. Megunticook, Zeke’s Overlook Summit, Maiden Cliff
Our dog has been having trouble with the ice in the Whites lately so we tried this on a whim. If you’re looking for something a bit different, this is a great hike. We logged about 2200 feet of gross elevation gain over 9 miles with stunning views of the ocean, cliffs, sub-alpine terrain, and trails that were a lot like many trails in the Whites. And there’s a ton of trails in this area (Camden Hills State Park). Probably insanely busy in the summer, but not too bad today. |
