The trails were broken, but the snow was unconsolidated, we wore snowshoes to treeline and then spikes. The hike could be done with just spikes, however, snowshoes were probably best on this day.
No full crampons needed at this time, but there was a rainstorm Sunday, March 6 which could make things sketchy. |
