I took the Appalachian Trail all the way up to North Crocker. I don't think anyone has hiked the full trail in a long time, because I was completely breaking it out near the summit. I had planned to hit South Crocker and Redington, but I had to change plans due to all the breaking. The good news is that there is now a completely broken path from the parking lot to North Crocker, and it looked like it might have been previously broken beyond that. This was a snowshoes all the way type of hike, and I didn't even bother to bring the spikes. |
