Broke trail in about 4-5 inches up to the ridge- bald peak. Then it looked like no one had gone the 1.7 miles to the summit in awhile so I broke that out…. Some spots were up to my knees…. So much fun breaking trail. 0.2 mile up fire wardens to summit had been used by skies… magnificent views at summit… such a sweeping view of the whites…. Just as I left 3 snowmobile’s came up the fire wardens trail. Went back using the bald peak trail so it’s broken out for snowshoes… I wouldn’t want to spike or bareboot, wouldn’t be any fun. No wind on the ridge, 13 degrees and sunny… great day ✌ðŸ». |
