2 small 4-5 inch blowdowns on great notch trail below notch - stepovers, Benard Mtn trail - large blowdown on Knight nubble with developed path around, branch across trail in little ntch |

A great hike for canines - lots of water along this short loop - one short steep section heading out of Great notch |

Peak located in western mountains of Acadia NP so trails see much less traffic than the peaks to the east - saw only 2 people. Trail generally dry with a few isolated patches of mud most notably in the notch, heading out of great notch up the only really step section there is a place with wet rocks that can be a bit slick. Not much in the way of views - outlook on short spur on Knight Nubble and outlook just before Bernard mtn summit. |
