Comments
Comments: No need for traction today. The short stretches of compressed snow/frozen slush was easy to get by on rocks. The ledges were a mix of wet rock and dry surfaces. The wet areas will freeze up tomorrow so watch for black ice. Much of the way was on leafy surfaces.
Nice views of Moose Pond from the ledges and of the White Mountains from the summit.
Many nice conversations with other hikers today.
The forecast is for snow tomorrow afternoon so the conditions will change.
