Date of Hike: Tuesday, September 14, 2021
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Caribou Valley Rd (aka Caribou Pond Rd) has some rough spots at very beginning, rest of road to gate is ok with some potholes and rocks that can be avoided or taken slowly with no issues. Parking lot was full on arrival but there is wide space on roadside to park.

Comments
Comments: Long road walk to (and from) just before pond but can be done quickly and on a good day is pleasant enough. Herd path up is straightforward between the few well placed flags, the herd path itself, and bit of periodic checking on topo along the way, just to make it feel somewhat like a bushwhack. Definitely seems a good way to do the S/N Crocker/Redington trio whichever direction you take it. Agree with comments that Redington is 'trailless' by the slimmest definition.
