Comments
Comments: Once you get to 2500' the ATV trails get confusing. There was a sign for Snow Mountain at an important junction, but it was laying on the ground. I followed an ATV trail up to the spur ridge that the hiking trail follows and took that. There is a scrambly ledge at 3300' that you would not want to fall off, but it can be bypassed by cutting through the woods.

The summit cannister is non-standard wooden similar to birdbox. It is not weathering very well. It should be replaced with a more weather-proof PVC cannister.

I came across a trail that comes up from the west apparently from Big Island Pond Camps. The summit register contained a note from some folks who came up from Big Island Camp and that they had cleared the trail.
