 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Very hard to find this trail. It is on Coburn Brook Road. There is a car pull-out area on left and a log road on right. Go up log road and cross over cable gate. You will notice blue blazes after about 1/3 mile and the trail is blazed in blue/yellow for the remainder of the hike. |

Trail is very hard to find and lightly used. Parts of it are shared with ATVs. I strongly recommend using the East Andover Road trailhead and parking area, which is less than two miles south of Coburn Brook Road. The large parking area on right is well marked. There are two trailheads, one across the street from the parking and one about .1 mile north. It probably makes sense to take the northern trail up and follow the southern trail down, to avoid getting lost. The northern trail is blazed in yellow, but may be easy to miss descending.
Also, please note that there were amazing blueberries. This may be the best blueberry mountain in the world! Views were great too as the upper half of the hike is on open ledges, with an amazing 360 degree view from the summit. Love this hike!! |
