High heat kept the bugs from chasing us |

We abandoned our plan to do Abraham on this day, because of the high heat forecast. We did this short hike to a very interesting rock feature instead. The AT is well cared for up to this point. We headed home early
to enjoy air conditioning and a comfortable bed. |
