| Comments: |
Virtually all snow is gone, just a few traces and a couple rotting drifts at the summit. The melt water did form some ice overnight in a few places, but was melting rapidly in the sun and warm breeze. No traction needed, not even close. Nearly no mud, either. The entire trail is on SW facing slopes, which certainly helped melt the snow and ice. Nearby hills with NE facing slopes still had a far bit of snow visible, only intermittent coverage, but there's still plenty of melting to do. |
