One small stream that can be hopped with rocks and help from poles. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
At about 1.75 mi in, there’s an option to go left on AT or straight. The straight portion does not appear maintained or marked well. The trail is easy enough to make out, but there are significant blowdowns on it right now. |

AT to Pleasant Pond Mt from Boise Rd
I would suggest keeping on the AT the whole way. There appears to be a shorter route that cuts out some trail, but it’s steeper, icier, and currently has quite a few blowdowns that are a pain to navigate around. Probably easier to just take AT around. Could have used spikes in spots on 4/3/21 but didn’t take them out. |
