This trail was in much better shape than I expected. Some mud, but avoidable. On the 2nd part of the trail, after the false summit, there is a portion of old monorail. I was carrying microspikes in my back pack, but was able to step on the side or over the monorail snow/ice/ slush. Beautiful and clear the whole days with great views. My second time on this trail in a month...did I mention the views....We started at 1:30 and it took 1 ½ hours up at an easy but steady pace. Same on the way down, because we made a few photo stops! |
