| Comments: |
Enchanted Mountain Rd had a snowmobile track going up it, so I didn’t have to do any trail breaking there. The snowmobile trail to the summit had seen a good amount of traffic, so no trail breaking necessary there either. Some minor drifting in places, but nothing problematic.
This turned out to be one of the better hikes I’ve done recently- there were good views at a lot of points on the hike up and down, and even better views from the top. Also, the forest was very tranquil with the snow-capped trees, on and off snow showers, and light wind. Just what the doctor ordered! |
