I was the first up the mountain today and as described in yesterday’s report, there were a lot of drifts past 3,000 feet or so. After that, the trail was totally obscured under deep drifts but I managed to trudge through just fine with my snowshoes. Definitely recommend snowshoes based on today’s conditions. Under all that snow, though, the trail is getting nice and packed down. Saw lots of people wearing snowshoes when I made my way back down |
