| Comments: |
A long loop up White Cairn Trail to Blueberry and Speckled Mountains, then down Brickett Brook Trail to Brickett Place, and then back up Blueberry Ridge Trail to Blueberry Mt and then down Stone House Trail. Snow started at 2200 ft. Traction was never needed. The drought had gotten us used to dry trails. Not today. After the rain and snow earlier in the week the trails were wet and streams were up. Lots of wet ledges. We were glad we had waterproof boots. The views from the top of Speckled are very nice. We saw 2 moose on the Stone House Trail. |
