Comments
Comments: Once on Hamlin Ridge Trail, we didn't see anyone (though maybe because it was a Monday) and enjoyed the summit to ourselves.

We were told by a Park Ranger that it had lightly snowed recently on Katahdin, but it had all since melted. Blue skies in all directions today and the ground was dry above treeline. Some of the fallen leaves and roots were slippery in places below treeline.
