This was an epic hike... beautiful weather... summit & knife edge in the clear all day. Started off just after the gate heading to roaring brook a moose in a bog with Katahdin standing majestically in the background. All trails in perfect condition... hardly any wind on knife edge and views were breathtaking.... everyone was respectful and friendly. Probably the best day of hiking I have ever had.... if you haven’t done this hike I highly recommend it. This was my 6th hike of Katahdin, 3rd going across knife edge, and it always blows my mind on the absolute beauty of it all. ✌🻠|
