Plank recently placed on AT to cross river toward Sugarloaf has washed out of place. Water is a torrent and dangerous. |

Waterproof boots a must. Trail is a streambed much of the way. |

We tried bushwack to Redington but didn't have enough info to find the right way. Camped at South Crocker. One tent platform is falling apart, but the others are fine. Needless to say-plenty of water! |
