Parking/Access Road Notes: Drive in on Caribou Pond Rd is relatively smooth...average cars should have no issues. Parking at gate filled up by 10am with parallel parking back down the road.

Water Crossing Notes: Easily crossed S Branch Carrabassett on large rocks and installed "board bridge".

Comments: #63 on my NE67 list!!

A fair amount of mud, standing water, and slick rocks/roots after recent rains. Straightforward trail to hike. Summit of Sugarloaf offers great views all around.
