| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We opted to park in the large lot at the end of Stratton Brook Pond Road (with room for 15 or so cars) instead of driving further into the final parking area. The road walk to the left of the Stratton Brook kiosk sign is easy. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All easy to rock hop. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One very large blowdown on the Fire Warden's Trail where the trail was re-routed (can't remember the exact mile). If you're small, you can duck under. If you're tall, you may need to crawl with your pack on. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
Mosquitoes were bad down low. There were some odd bee/bugs flying around the two summit signs, but they didn't appear to be stinging. |
| Lost and Found: |
There was a large rolled-up orange Thermarest sleeping pad on the trail. We took it down to the Stratton Brook Pond Road kiosk and left it there, since we didn't see anyone in the vicinity. There were a few other items at the kiosk, including a pair of hiking boots. |

| Comments: |
Trails were wet and rather muddy in places with running water on trail. Views were spectacular on both peaks! |
