Comments
Comments: I started at 3:00 this morning and hiked up base & summit trail for a beautiful sunrise and to beat the heat. Steep sections after the visitor center but nothing to hard. A lot of good spots for good foot placement and easy hand holds. Perfectly breezy at the summit and the sunrise was spectacular. Went back down base trail and took greenwood overlook spur ( which crosses over access trail ) which was a nice view partially overlooking a pond... then I just followed access trail back to my car... I heard a lot of birds singing, including several hermit thrush... great hike 👍🏻
