| Comments: |
We started on trail around 7:15 and climbed via the Fire Warden's with bare boots. Shortly after the junction with the Horns Pond Trail, we switched to snowshoes. Another group of hikers summited with spikes only. The trail up to the col is in great shape. From West, we added 2 more snowshoe tracks in the crusty powder for a total of 3. We followed the solo set of tracks down to Horns Pond where we lost the solo track and picked up 2 fresh upcoming tracks. So the Horns Pond trail is packed out too.
If you need the Horn for the list, good conditions as of yesterday. |
