Comments
Comments: The Ledges Trail was wonderful! Bottom is pretty muddy, but plenty of rocks to hop on. Very little snow the rest of the way up. Bald Peak Trail still has plenty of snow. It was stable for me, but there were previous postholes two feet or more deep. The section from Bald Peak down to Sue's Way is very hazardous without good traction! The trail is steep and mostly ice-covered. Lots of running water across the trail from that junction on out to the road.
My suggestion is to stick with the very pleasant Ledges Trail for a few weeks until the ice has a chance to melt.
