 | Comments: |
A great day to be on the A.T. with temps from 15 to 25 and mostly blue sky with some clouds and no wind. About 4 inches of powder at the trailhead and about 8 inches of powder on a packed base from 3000 elevation to both peaks. No hikers today. Started hiking in microspikes for the first 3 miles then switched to snowshoes for the last 3 miles. Switched back to microspikes at the same area on the way down. Thanks to Frosty and Magoo for breaking trail with snowshoes from North peak to South peak. |
