2 dogs ran up to me full bore with no owners in sight... one a pit bull mix.... kind of intimidating.... I really wish dogs were on a leash, but that’s not always the case.... I get it, owners want their dogs to run and play but as a hiker I don’t know these dogs and to see them running at ya kind of sucks in the moment because I wasn’t sure what to really do.... thankfully all ended well but I did tell the owner it was a pretty nerve racking experience |

You get your bang for your buck on this mountain.... 360 views.... blue sky with big white puffy clouds.... awesome day. There is a blue blaze access trail to the start of the blueberry mountain trail that bypasses the athletic field. Don’t under estimate this hike, it starts steep and stays pretty much steep. |
