Comments
Comments: Bryan and I met at the trailhead sometime around 3 pm after we had done our morning hikes. Just 1.3 miles to reach the summit via the Burnt Mountain Trail--the old watchman's road to a grown-in summit with a super open wide vista is just beyond the summit. We met a family with children walking up on our way down. What a super hike to do for a family with small children; gentle grades just 600 vf of climb and good footing. Magnificent views for modest effort that ranged from Brothers to Katahdin--basically everything that NEHH people hike and more. Two thumbs up.
