This was a great hike to stay away from the crowds. I was on the summit of little Jackson for 45 minutes by myself. Very windy.... had my coat & gloves on today. My kestrel annimometer ( I think that’s how you spell it lol )... 34 mph wind... temp 37 with a wind chill of 23.1 degrees. It was cold. Great summit tho with 360 magnificent views.... all trails in great shape except for pond link trail, very overgrown in the middle part of the trail. I didn’t have a hard time following it but I could see why someone could... Parker ridge trail gives a great side view of tumbledown. |
