Comments
Comments: Nice take - a little underwhelming of a canyon (after hiking the real Grand Canyon 9 mo ago) but the waterfalls were nice and it was a lovely, wild part of ME I’d love to explore more fully soon. Upper half of Rim Tr. was much more difficult - after The Jaws (when descending SE) the trail flattens out and you can fly. Lots of families today. I’m always amazed at the questionable footwear choices given the muddy ledges and extensive root system on the Rim Tr., including a mother’s and daughter in bright white Keds. Sheesh.

Be aware Maine’s out of state Day Use Fee is $15/person and is payable only in cash or personal check. Hope the state uses my $60 wisely.
