We headed up towards the peak in open woods. We soon hit a very well defined trail. We followed this (loosing it only briefly) to a viewpoint on the steep westerly summit outcropping. From here we bushwhacked in sometimes thick, woods to the south highpoint. We then worked our way to the north high contour. We found a recognized highpoint towards the north end of the bump and explored one bump further north. To return, we headed towards the trail. We hopped to follow it down, but ultimately lost it in open woods/low-growth. We bushwhacked down to our start point. |
