| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Fee to drive Jo Mary road is $15 out of state; $10 for ME residents. I followed the road north of Johnson Brook and to the road shown on most maps going up the east slope of the peak. Jo Mary road is in great shape; active logging. With car I was able to drive a small car all the way to the east drainage at between 1200 and 1300 feet. |

| Comments: |
I worked my way up the drainage, intially taking cuts, ancient road, and hitting regrown areas. The slope was very steep as expected, with some cliffs to work around and soft ground with holes/moss traps. The upper woods were tight in many places. There were some tough blowdown areas too. The highpoint was hard to find. I explored the three equal high contours and spent a lot of time looking for a recognized summit. Finally, I found one (on the ground), at or very close to the location of the spot elevation. There was reference to possible other recognized points. This proved to be a challenging hike to this peak that I've been wanting to climb for a long time. |
