Parking/Access Road Notes: No difficulty driving down Caribou Valley (Pond) Road to within about 1/2 mile of the trailhead. Was driving a Ford Ranger.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Able to cross the south branch of the Carrabassett River via rock hopping and a board placed between rocks acting as a bridge.
