I followed the drive instructions in the ME mountain guide. The editor's note mentions an upcoming change to parking, but that has not occurred yet. The ride in was a bit rough for my small car, but okay. |

Some blowdowns, the biggest being right before the cabin. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. The iron ladder on the tower seemed fine. The floor boards in the cab on the other hand are rotting out and seem quite unsafe. The cabin is in okay shape and is interesting. |

Good hike to Williams. I walked around a few bumps near the tower and one further away to be sure. |
