Trail is well maintained with easy to follow blazes at lower elevation, and cairns near the summit. |

A few flying insect near the start of the trail—nothing major. No insects encountered as we began ascending. |

| Comments: |
Overall great conditions, with only a couple of easily avoidable muddy patches (no more than 5 yards in length) near the start of the trail. The ledges (which are located .25 miles from the summit) offered great views. |
