Trail in good shape overall. Wet and muddy in spots but only because of recent rains. |

Very do-able and exciting for our 3-year-old dog. We encountered a couple of other dogs, also helpfully on-leash. |

This is a fun, do-able hike with terrific views for a modest effort and time commitment. Looked like many good spots nearby on the Ellis River to cool off after hiking in summer. |
