Comments
Comments: Hiked up the Appalachian trail from Caribou pond road. First section of trail was doable with some postholes. Once you get past the campground in the steeper uphill section it became impassible in snow drifts of at least 6 feet. Had to turn around at 3,000 Feet (see picture). Granted I only brought micro-spikes would recommend Snow shoes for further hike. Seemed like I was the first one there in a few months.
