Had a little time after Baldface, so I hit East Royce. Trail is rough and steep and mostly snow free. Time meant I probably wouldn't have done West anyway, but a couple of ladies coming down told me there was still a lot of snow between the two peaks and they had postholed a lot, so that made it official. Far less windy than earlier on Baldface. Nice end to great day. |
