Trail conditions are horrible. It goes from semi soft pack, to running water, to ice, and then deep soft snow. I even post holed in the soft stuff with my MSR Evo's on. Getting to Speckled was a slog. The straight up sections have ice, roots, and rocks. The views on Speckled were pretty mediocre. I didn't see anyone else up there. Oh and there's post holes. |
