Hard packed all the way to the summit. Scattered frozen postholes, but mostly flattened. The trail deviates from the designated trail just before the last steep section, but soon rejoins. The upper section before the cell towers is a little bumpy. Some light traction is recommended. Snowshoes probably won't be needed until the next snow or warm up. Nice sunny, blue sky today. Unlimited views to the Whites. |
