Dreary start to the day, but progressive clearing by the time we cleared to open views. Any wet spots or mud insignificant despite rain last night.
Bright sun with patchy fair weather clouds provided excellent views to N and W, and S. Just a few people enjoying the day. Absolutely spectacular day and area; trees just turning to foliage here and there. Excellent 'warmup' hike to get back to fall season, if a little late, some quad/knee work just below treeline. Terrific to do this with Evan.
