First quarter mile or so, where the trail has been relocated, is quite overgrown. Other than that it's in great shape, easy to follow. |

The first part of this climb is steep and relentless. After that it's much more moderate, with a few steep sections here and there. Really nice summit, great views of the Weld area and beyond. Unlike earlier on Burnt Hill, it was really nice at the summit, and with no one around I hung out in the sun for a while, enjoying a beautiful late September day. |
