Parking/Access Road Notes: There's space for several cars on North Barbour Road right off of Deer Hill Road.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings were not an issue -- except for a portion of the southern leg of the Conant Trail, not too far from the beaver dam and before the trail begins the climb up Pine Hill. The trail is completely flooded with calf-deep water for about 50-60 yards, and requires a bushwhack.

Comments: A fine day for a hike -- plenty of time spent at the old Lord Hill pegmatite/quarry looking for interesting stones, minerals, etc.
