There are many blow downs on the trails, nothing that can't be maneuvered around. The ranger at the parking lot will give you information about it. |

Microspikes are definitely the most appropriate footwear.You could bareboot and do some slipping, and you could snowshoe for traction, but the snow is only 6 inches MAX.
Switchback trail doesn't have any tree blazes and doesn't get a lot of use so we found the trail difficult to follow. North loop was well blazed, however. |
