 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Took a couple turn arounds to find trail head. I flew by the first time thinking what a pretty house and lo and behold the trail was next to it. |

One bridge to cross that left a little to the imagination. I guess if log trucks do it so can I. |

I decided with short time and bad weather to get out and get a little exercise anyway. The round trip 5 miles and about 1600' was perfect. Socked in with clouds and eerie at the top. Had to pay lots of attention last 1/2 mile or so. The logging industry has had a good time back and forth across that trail. Made it up in 59 minutes and down in about 65 minutes. I found a cache of logger soda cans from the 80's near the top that I want to go back and remove. I carried out as much as my pack would hold. Happy trails! |
